A myriad number of people live in extreme poverty globally; solving the challenge may look impossible and we may feel helpless about our contributions towards the solution. However, we should remember that anyone who is within reach, and who requires our help, should be extended a helping hand. Small concerted efforts will generate big gains! We do this for ourselves, we don’t need to be wealthy to lend a helping hand, all we need is a loving heart.

ሰው’ነት ክቡር ነው። እንደ ድህነት ይልቁንም እንደ አስከፊ ድህነት ክቡሩን ሰው የሚያዋርድ ነገር የለም። በዓለም ላይ በርካታ ድሆች አሉ። ችግሩ ግዙፍ ስለሆነ አንዳች ማድረግ አልችል ይሆናል። ነገር ግን ዓይኔ ሊያየው፣ ጆሮዬ ሊሰማው በሚችል ቅርበት ያለ የእኔን ዕርዳታ የሚሻ/የምትሻ ሰው አይቼ ማለፍ አልፈልግም። ቀርቤ ላናግረው/ላናግራት፣ በምችለው አቅሜ ልረዳው/ልረዳት እጥራለሁ። ይህንን የማደርገው ለማንም ሳይሆን ለራሴ ነው። እኔ ሰው ነኝና! በአስከፊ ድህነት ውስጥ ያለን ሰው ለመርዳት ባለጠጋ መሆን የግድ አያስፈልገኝም። በፍቅር ባለጠጋ ከሆንኩ ለውጥ ማምጣት እችላለሁ። ስለዚህ እኔ እያለሁ በአቅራቢያዬ የሚበላውና የሚጠጣው የሚያጣ፣ የሚለብሰው የሚቸገር፣ ታክሞ ሊድን እየቻለ የሚሞት፣ ልጆቹን ትምህርት ቤት መላክ እየፈለገ የማይችል ሰው እንዲኖር አልፈልግም። “ላቭ ዩር ኔበር” የጌታ የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን ታላቅ ትዕዛዝ ለመተግበር የቆመ ድርጅት ነው። እርስዎም ሰው ነዎትና ይህንን በአቅራቢያችን ያሉ ሰዎችን ከአስከፊ ድህነት ውስጥ የማውጣትና በዘላቂነት ሕይወታቸውን የመለወጥ ራዕይና ተልዕኮ እንዲቀላቀሉ ተጋብዘዋል።
